The Rams were never able to get anything going offensively and opened up the Super Bowl with punts on their first eight drives.
After the loss, Rams head coach Sean McVay called the loss humbling and admitted he had been out-coached during their three point offensive performance.

McVay: This loss was humbling.

McVay was completely out-coached and quarterback Jared Goff was exposed. The Patriots defense played so well that their offense just had to make a couple of plays to win the game and they did just that.
It was a defensive clinic and just about every play the Patriots called defensively worked. Unfortunately for the Rams, they never figured out how to beat the Patriots defense.
