The New Orleans Saints were looking to improve their depth in the defensive backfield when they drafted C.J. Gardner Johnson with a fourth round pick in the fourth round (105th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Gardner-Johnson stepped up as a rookie, playing in all 16 games with seven starts.

He placed eighth on the team with 46 tackles, third with eight breakups and was one of ten players with an interception.

On the field, so far so good. 

Off the field, not as much.  

Apparently he’s having a difficult time navigating his personal life. 

Based off his baby mama’s post, Chauncey and Cydney Griffin are currently separated. (Her Pics Above) 

But C.J. wants his family back. He even went as far as sending her a bunch of flowers and a card, which she posted then deleted.
