Former Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall has been released by the New Orleans Saints. The news broke on Wednesday afternoon and without him ever playing in a game .

The 34-year-old was signed after fellow veteran free agent Dez Bryant went down with an injury a few weeks ago. Unlike Dez, this was probably Marshall’s last shot at playing in the NFL.
Marshall is clearly not the same receiver who put together multiple 1000 yard seasons. Maybe he’ll get the hint and retire.
