The Pittsburgh Steelers have already ruled Ryan Shazier out for the entire 2018 season as he continues to recover from the serious spinal cord injury he suffered last year.
That hasn’t stopped him from showing up to training camp and hitting the practice field with the linebackers. With the help of a cane, Shazier walked on the field and got a few mental reps in.

It’s good to see Shazier is still participating with his teammates, but at the same time it’s hard to watch. He was one of the best athletes in the world and he now can’t walk without the assistance of a cane.
Let’s hope Shazier’s recovery continues to be a positive one and he is able to get around without the use of a cane soon.
