Ryan Shazier, who continues to recover from a spinal cord injury suffered last season, was in Toronto with his family on Friday night for the Yankees-Blue Jays game.
Shazier and the family were on the field prior to the game. They met with Yankees players while they were taking batting practice.
Some extra pics from @RyanShazier’s visit to @RogersCentre – Shazier and his fiancée and extended (Puerto Rican!) family spent some time with players, including @TheJudge44 @Giancarlo818 and @AChapman_105 #BlueJays #Yankees pic.twitter.com/41d4RM3apV

It’s good to see Shazier out and about. He still has a long way to go and is still using canes to get around. Shazier will not be seeing any action on the field in 2018.
The Yankees lost the game 6-2 and are currently two games back in the AL East.
