On Friday, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte announced that he and his wife Kayla Rae were expecting their second child.
He posted on Instagram:
“BOOM! Baby number 2! Can’t wait to bring my fam of 4 to #tokyo2020.”
Kayla added about their bundle of joy, who is due in June.
The pair recently told People magazine:
“Caiden is hands down the best part of our lives, so we cant wait to grow our family together and watch him become a big brother!”
The news comes just two months after Ryan and Kayla tied the knot in Palm Springs. At the ceremony, they had son Caiden walk down the aisle as the ring bearer.

After their wedding, Ryan opened up about their baby plans, telling People magazine:
“Since I met [Kayla], I’ve always wanted two kids before 2020 Olympics so it will be perfect if we get pregnant before 2019.”
Ryan and Kayla expressed their wish for a girl. She said, “I like being pregnant around Christmas time, so maybe I’ll be pregnant by Christmas.”
