Ryan Bader became the first fighter in Bellator history to hold belts in two different weightclasses on Saturday night at Bellator 214. The light heavyweight champion defeated 42-year-old MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko in just 35 seconds.
Bader dropped Fedor with a looping left hand on the chin. He then jumped on his downed opponent and finished him with hammer fists.

That is how you become a Champ-Champ. Bader is now undefeated since leaving the UFC for Bellator.
Emelianenko is 5-2 since coming out of retirement 3 years ago. He earned first round wins over Frank Mir and Chael Sonnen leading up to this title fight.
Despite those wins earning him a shot at the title, Fedor hinted leading up to this fight that he was heading back into retirement.
That’s probably a good idea.
