She tested positive for a banned performance-enhancing drug, the Russian bobsleigh federation said in a statement on Friday.
The federation said in a post on its official Facebook page that the athlete had tested positive on Feb. 18, five days after a previous doping test returned a negative result for her.
The Russian Olympic Committee was banned from the Pyeongchang Olympics because of a widespread doping scandal during the 2014 Sochi Games, so 168 athletes have been competing under an Olympic banner as Olympic Athletes from Russia
She also once ripped her suit back in 2014, her other noteworthy Olympic achievement. Bobsledding ain’t easy.
