Russell Westbrook was hit with a Flagrant 1 on Friday night for a hard foul on Pistons center Zaza Pachulia. As Pachulia went up for an easy basket in the lane, Westbrook dropped the hammer on his head.
The shot to the head knocked Pachulia to the ground, where the big man stayed for a few moments as he tried to shake off the hard foul.

This isn’t just your run of the mill flagrant foul. These two have a history and the foul by Westbrook on Friday night was payback for a shot to the face by Pachulia two years ago.

Westbrook’s a man of his word. He did say he was going to get him back. Westbrook can expect a call from the NBA about this shot to the head. In the end, it was probably worth it.
