Running back Jamaal Charles was cut by the Jaguars on Monday after just two games and six carries for seven yards.
Following the news that he had been cut, the five time 1,000 yard rusher released a statement thanking Jacksonville and realistically saying it was probably his last shot in the NFL.
If it is the end of his career, he had a pretty good run. Charles ran for over 7,500 career yards and 2,500 through the air, he also reached the end zone 44 times. The 31-year-old’s promising career was derailed by injuries.
