Tennessee Tech first baseman Chase Chambers, who was drafted by the Mets in the 18th round, hilariously misplayed a ball allowing a run to score.
Chambers attempted to field a pop up in front of home and completely missed it. The ball ended up hitting him in the groin making it a fair ball and allowing a run to score from third.
It wasn’t meant to be for Tennessee Tech and their College World Series hopes came to an end when they lost to Texas 5-2 on Monday.
