NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday to attend the funeral services for President George H.W. Bush. He was not there to answer questions about former Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt.
A reporter caught up with Goodell and asked him several times about Hunt and whether or not he would play in the NFL again.
The answer to that is obviously yes, Hunt will play in the NFL again. Goodell doesn’t want to go on record saying that, but he could have given some sort of canned answer about investigating the situation and reviewing this and that.
Goodell instead chose to completely ignore the questions. Nice, the head of the NFL is staying quiet on violence against women.
That’s not a great look.
