The Houston Rockets put up 70 three pointers on Wednesday night against the Nets and they still lost the game. The franchise record for three point attempts takes living and dying by the three to an all new level.

Obviously launching 70 three point attempts isn’t a recipe for success, especially if you aren’t going to play much defense. Which clearly Houston did not do on Wednesday night.
It might be time to get a few more shots off in the paint and attempt to play some sort of defense. Otherwise the Rockets will be setting themselves up for another disappointing early exit from the playoffs.
