Looks like Rob Pelinka is already responding to Magic Johnson’s claims that he was the backstabber.
During his appearance on First Take, Johnson identified general manager Rob Pelinka as the backstabber who led him to his untimely resignation.

During a press conference on Monday at which the Los Angeles Lakers introduced Frank Vogel as their new head coach, the team’s Pelinka was asked about Johnson’s claim that he had stabbed Johnson in the back during their time working together.
Here’s what he said:

Clearly no one ever admits to being a backstabber.
There’s always two sides to every story.
