Richard Sherman responded to a tweet about a youth football team trying to raise money to travel to Florida to play in the National Youth Championship.
The Pop Warner team from Compton had a GoFundMe page to raise the $15,000 needed to make the trip. The 49ers cornerback made a generous $5,000 donation to the team.
Sherman was more impressed with the 3.1 minimum GPA that is required to be on the team than their awesome football skills.
