Looks like Richard Jefferson is feeling right at home as one of ESPN’s talking heads.
Jefferson was on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ with former Cavaliers assistant coach Damon Jones. The conversation shifted towards how ruthless the NBA can be, with Jefferson explaining how he found out the New Jersey Nets had traded him.
Jones offered no support.

RJ ended up taking to Twitter shortly after where he shut down Damon Jones’ claims.
“If anyone was wondering why this man got soup thrown on him itβs because of absurd statements like this,” Jones said. “Nets 2009 12-70 and started the season 0-18. My silence was me trying to not expose him on National TV.”

Next time RJ has to reel off those stats on Live TV.
But we live in a Twitter world these days, where something can be RT’d over and over again.
