“Your quarterback has a 32nd ranking QBR,” the ex-Jets head coach said on Monday’s edition of “Get Up” as he broke down the Browns’ 32-28 loss to the Seahawks. “Nothing overrated by that.”
“It’s not just on him,” Ryan said. “Is he struggling beyond belief? Yeah, if you’re 32nd in the league in QBR, you have no chance of winning.”
“Forget that,” Ryan said, via Cleveland.com. “If I’m ownership, no, no. You are staying, we’re locking you in here. We got to figure something out. How about getting the ball out of this kid’s hands? He’s accurate when he can throw on rhythm. There is no rhythm to their passing game right now.”
