The Buffalo Bills signed pass-rusher Leonard Floyd to a one-year deal, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Floyd suited up for the Los Angeles Rams over the last three seasons. The 30-year-old played in all 17 games last year, recording 59 tackles with nine sacks.
Los Angeles released Floyd on March 10 after signing a four-year, $64-million deal in 2021.
The move reunites Von Miller and Floyd, with the pair playing together on the Rams in 2021. The duo helped Los Angeles on its Super Bowl run, combining for six sacks in the playoffs.
Von Miller is coming off a torn ACL, and it’s unknown if he’ll be ready for Week 1. Adding Floyd gives the Bills some much-needed flexibility across the defensive line if Miller misses time to start the season.
The former first-round pick has 338 tackles and 49.5 sacks in 104 career games.
