The Packers improved to 5-1 on Monday night after a “miraculous” comeback to beat the Lions, led by Aaron Rodgers. Or so it would appear on paper.
What actually happened was a series of terrible calls by the referees that paved the way for Rodgers to win the game. Two of the worst penalties in the history of football were called on Lions defensive end Trey Flowers.
Flowers was called for two hands to the face penalties in the fourth quarter and his hand clearly never left the offensive lineman’s chest.
