Redskins backup quarterback Colt McCoy’s season and possibly the team’s playoff hopes came to an end on Monday Night Football.
Per @saltersl, X-Rays for #Redskins QB Colt McCoy came back showing a fractured right fibula. His season is over. Finally get a chance… and now this. Brutal.

The team had to turn to Mark Sanchez, who has only been with the team a couple of weeks, following starter Alex Smith’s devastating broken leg.
Washington managed to keep the game close until the fourth quarter when the Eagles finally pulled away by scoring 14 points.
The injury to McCoy likely means the Redskins will have to sign another quarterback off the street. Will this finally be Colin Kaepernick’s triumphant return to the league?
Or will they sign a guy like Nathan Peterman and make Kaepernick’s collusion case for him?
