Redskins quarterback Alex Smith managed to avoid being sacked before picking up a huge gain with his legs.  At the end of his run he takes a vicious shot to the head. 

This is the type of hit that will make it hard to see straight.

You absolutely don’t want to take too many of these.  Smith has to slide or step out of bounds before eating a hit like this one.
