Reports came out this weekend that Redskins team president Bruce Allen was no longer going to be running the team’s football operations.  The reports suggested that he would remain with the team.

That is not the case.  Early Monday morning it was reported that the Redskins had fired Allen and that he is no longer with the organization in any capacity.

This ends Allen’s run with the Redskins after 10 disappointing years.  This move comes on the same day the team plans to hire former Panthers head coach Ron Rivera.
