A Cincinnati Reds fan said back on December 11th that if the Reds managed to trade Homer Bailey and his “hideous contract” he would shotgun three cans of Skyline Chili. On December 21st it was announced that the Reds were acquiring Yasiel Puig, Matt Kemp and Alex Wood for Homer Bailey and a couple of prospects.

The Reds fan paid up on his promise and posted a video early Thursday morning of himself shotgunning three cans of Skyline Chili.

We’d like to think the Reds saw the tweet prior to the trade and figured out a way to ship Bailey out just to see him pay up. How long was he on the toilet after this?
