The Red Sox jumped out to an early lead in Game 4 against Yankees and never looked back. The Yankees were unable to get much going until the bottom of the 9th when they were able to get the game winning run to the plate.
Boston survived with a 4-3 win to advance to the American League Championship Series. They have the reigning World Series champs standing in their way of a shot at the World Series.
Before that, the Red Sox get to celebrate and celebrate they did. In the clubhouse after the game they were heard playing “New York, New York.” A little troll job aimed at Aaron Judge, who played the song at Fenway on his way to the bus.
