This Red Sox fan woke up from surgery and immediately trashed the Yankees, because nothing runs deeper than sports hatred.  Normally when people are still out of it due to anesthesia they start cracking jokes or hitting on the nearest nurse, not this guy, he went straight to what he hates the most.

It’s a move that even a Yankees fan can respect.

There is, of course, a flaw in his argument.  He says “the Yankees are everything that’s wrong with sports.”  He’s likely referring to the tired argument that the Yankees “bought” all of their World Series wins. 

Which isn’t true.  What is true, is that if you really want to win then you have to put money into your on the field product.  And that’s exactly what the Red Sox have done this season and in years past to win their recent rings.
