A Red Sox fan was lobbying J.D. Martinez to throw a baseball to his kid.  When the ball was thrown to a different kid, one with a glove, the fan dove for the ball and took out his kid in the process.

You can see in the video that in addition to tackling his son, he knocked the ball back on the field and nobody ended up with it.  Way to ruin everyone’s day, dad.

Unfortunately every fan base has adults like this guy.  We get it, you wanted a ball for your kid, but you have to let it go when it gets thrown to another kid.  Drag your kid to the gift shop and buy him one.
