As the Rangers’ new ballpark continues to progress towards completion, a few current players took to the field to take some batting practice.
Joey Gallo, Willie Calhoun, Delino Deshields and Jose Trevino were among the players to take part in blasting balls into the Globe Life Field seats.

Earlier Wednesday, the club announced the dimensions of the new ballpark, which will honor Rangers greats.
Seating capacity is approximately 40,000 for the stadium, which will open in March 2020.
