NFL Insider Jay Glazer teased some big news he had to share on Wednesday night. The news was that Rams center Brian Allen had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Allen is the first active NFL player to have contracted the illness. It was a little overblown on Glazer’s part, but the Rams did have to shutdown their facility because Allen was receiving physical therapy due to an injury.
Head coach Sean McVay spoke to Glazer about it and gave an update on Allen’s status. According to McVay, “he’s healthy and he’s on the road to recovery.”
