On Thursday night the Los Angeles and Boston rivalry was back on. The Lakers and the Celtics met on the hardwood in Boston.
There was a celebratory mood with Bill Belichick in the building to rub it in Los Angeles’ face. But this game wouldn’t end the same way the World Series and Super Bowl did.
It ended with former Celtic Rajon Rondo hitting a shot at the buzzer for the win. The Lakers had the ball, down by a point with under 10 seconds to play.
After a wild scramble for the ball following a missed shot, it ended up in Rondo’s hands. Without hesitation he put up and made the game winning buzzer beating shot.

The Lakers celebrated like they had won Game 7 of The Finals and the Celtics left the floor in disbelief.
It looks like the Lakers forgot all about LeBron trying to trade away half the roster for Anthony Davis. Someone should remind them.
