Rajai Davis hit a home run in his first at-bat with the Mets on Wednesday night against the Nationals. He was called up earlier in the day from Triple-A Syracuse, who was in Pennsylvania taking on the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs.
Davis took an Uber from Lehigh, Pennsylvania to Citi Field. The trip took 2 hours and 20 minutes and cost the Mets $283.86. He arrived in the 3rd inning, got lost on the way to locker room, then hit a three-run homer.

Following the game, a 6-1 New York win, Davis talked about his interesting trip to his Mets debut.

The Mets might want to consider having Davis drive in from two hours away before every game. Especially if he’s going to hit late inning homers.
