Five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola committed to Georgia, he announced Monday.
Raiola is the top-ranked pocket passer and No. 1 overall recruit of the 2024 class in the ESPN 300. He originally announced his commitment to Ohio State in May 2022 but decomitted from the Buckeyes in December.
Raiola also considered USC and Nebraska as potential destinations. Raiola’s father, Dominic, was an All-American offensive lineman for the Cornhuskers, and the quarterback’s uncle, Donovan, is part of the school’s coaching staff.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound passer is the second 2024 quarterback to join Georgia after four-star recruit Ryan Puglisi. They are part of a top-ranked Bulldogs recruiting class that features eight top-100 prospects, including touted cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, who’s also a five-star recruit.
Raiola, an Arizona native, averaged 240.7 passing yards per game while posting a 64.6% completion rate with 54 touchdowns against 10 interceptions in 24 appearances across two seasons at Pinnacle High School.
