A private collector just made over $200,000 auctioning off a 14k gold diamond ring Kobe Bryant gave his mom 20 years ago. The ring was part of six items that Bryant’s parents sold off to a collector and big Lakers fan for $280,000.
The selling of the six items was the center of an issue between Bryant and his parents where the NBA legend sued his parents to keep them from selling memorabilia of his. He agreed to allow the sale of just six items.
The collector is expected to sell Kobe’s father’s ring at a later date.
