Hockey is back, and has been for a few weeks now, and you know what that means so are the big hits and the fights. Both of those things happened on Friday night during the Flyers shootout win over the Devils.
Flyers defenseman Matt Niskanen rocked Devils center Jack Hughes with a hit that knocked Hughes’ helmet off. After the hit Hughes’ teammate Kyle Palmieri decided to drop the gloves with Niskanen.
The hit is much better than the fight, but in both cases Niskanen got the better of his opponent.
