The softening of sports, especially football, in America continues. On Friday night a Pitt defensive back was flagged for tackling a Syracuse receiver too hard.
Sure the corner used a suplex to slam his opponent to the turf, but if he’s not going down easily you have to use a little muscle to force them to the ground.
To make matters worse the official claimed the penalty took place after the play. It clearly did not.
