The Reds were a busy team at the trade deadline. One of the moves they made was trading starting pitcher Tanner Roark to the Oakland A’s on Wednesday.
Roark learned of the trade while in the parking lot of an Arby’s in the middle of a road trip to Atlanta, where he lives in the off-season. He was driving there for Cincinnati’s upcoming series against the Braves.
Now he has to pack for a trip out west and a shot at making the postseason with the A’s.
