The Philadelphia Phillies still have lofty goals in free agency before the season gets underway. According to reports, team executives have their sights set on signing free agents Bryce Harper, Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel.

That’s right, a big time bat, a starting pitcher and a closer all in one off-season. That would certainly be enough fire power to make the Phillies a top contender in the National League East.
Whether or not they land all three is another story.
With how slow this year’s free agent signings this off-season have been it would seem unlikely. Although we wouldn’t be surprised at all if things really started heat up in late January and early February.
