During Tuesday night’s Oilers and Avalanche game in Colorado, a pane of glass on the visiting team’s penalty box exploded when a fan started banging on it. The fan was covered in glass and a couple rows of seats had to be cleared out while they cleaned it up.
The man who banged on the glass was the only person who seemed to suffer any kinds of injuries. He had a few scratches on his hands, but nothing too serious.
The game was delayed briefly during the cleanup and when it resumed the Oilers gave up a couple of goals, but held on to win 6-4.
Whoever was in the penalty box was probably thoroughly delighted by the fan’s instant karma.
