The New Orleans Pelicans aren’t content with having the number one and number four overall picks in Thursday’s NBA Draft. According to reports, they’ve “had internal talks about moving up to the second pick.”
The reason the Pelicans want to move up is so they can reunite Duke’s one-and-done stars, Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett.
The thought is that in order to do so they would not only have to give up the number four pick, but also include at least one of the young former Lakers in the deal.
It would be amazing if it was Lonzo Ball that the Grizzlies wanted in order to get the deal done. The Balls go to Memphis would be a reality show hit.
