NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the New Orleans Pelicans have fired General Manager Dell Demps. From the looks of it, not everyone in the front office agreed with keeping Anthony Davis after he asked for a trade.
Davis getting injured and leaving the arena early on Thursday night was apparently the last straw for the front office and led to Demps losing his job on Friday.

The Pelicans have a lot of work to do. Step one is going to be to make sure Anthony Davis doesn’t get hurt so they can trade him for half of the Lakers roster in the off-season.
