Former Red Sox pitcher and Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez was on hand for Game 3 of the Lightning-Bruins series. He served as the honorary banner captain, whatever that is.
Unfortunately for the Bruins and their fans, Pedro’s big game luck didn’t rub off on them. They lost the game 4-1 and are now down two games to one in the series.
Although he didn’t bring the Bruins any luck, Pedro was entertaining as hell. Every team in Boston should have him around more often.
I’m not going to feel sorry for Bruins fans if the they end up losing the series. They still have a lot to look forward to with their other teams.
Thank you @NHLBruins for making me honorary fan banner captain!! Go Bruins!!! #yeahhh #StanleyCupPlayoffs pic.twitter.com/MO1VegaaD3
