In game 5, with the game tied at 115 with just seconds left, Damian Lillard hit a 37-foot buzzer beater to win the game 118-115 and that ended the series.
Lillard’s shot has already become an iconic moment in NBA playoff history.
Here’s what Paul George had to say about it:
“Yeah, that’s a bad shot,” George said according to Sports Illustrated. “I don’t care what anyone says. That’s a bad shot. But he made it. That story will be told that it was bad shot and you have to live with it.”

With the game tied up, it really wasn’t a bad shot.
Lillard had nothing to lose.
Knowing the game is tied, it’s Paul George’s job to close out, no matter how far away from the basket Lillard was.
Definitely an incredible shot, but not a bad one.
Obviously it went in, how bad could it have been?
