Patriots receiver Julian Edelman showed up to his youth football camp over the weekend with a splint on his left thumb. The Super Bowl MVP is expected to miss three weeks with the injury.
Not exactly the way the 33-year-old wants to start the season, but it should give Tom Brady an opportunity to create more chemistry with some of other guys.
