Replacing a legendary quarterback is never easy. Attempting to do so with very little cap space is even harder.
Bill Belichick is finding that out the hard way. After not drafting any quarterbacks, the Patriots have signed two undrafted free agents to join Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer.
On Saturday New England signed former Louisiana Tech quarterback J’Mar Smith. The following day they added Michigan State’s Brian Lewerke.
