The Panthers were successfully able to trade one of their quarterbacks this offseason, it just wasn’t Cam Newton. His time in Carolina came to an end when he was released by the team.
The quarterback who the Panthers were able to trade was backup Kyle Allen. They traded him to the Redskins and they weren’t the only team interested.
According to reports, the Patriots “sniffed around” on Allen before he was traded to Washington.
