New England Patriots running back James White is coming off an impressive 2018 season that ended with him winning the third Super Bowl title of his five-year career, and he’s confident more great things are ahead entering the 2019 campaign.
White met with reporters Thursday at Gillette Stadium, and he had a simple message for fantasy football owners as they begin to decide which players to target in their league’s draft.
“Pick me, you can’t go wrong, right” White said with a smile when asked about fantasy owners considering drafting him.
White ran for 425 yards and five touchdowns last season, but his real value came as a receiver out of the backfield. He tallied 87 receptions for 751 yards and seven touchdowns, while playing in all 16 games for the second time in the last three years.
When it comes to pass-catching running backs, few players are better than White.
