The Patriots signed Demaryius Thomas this off-season to provide some veteran depth at the receiver position. The only problem with that is they have no idea when he’ll be cleared to play.
Thomas is currently on the PUP list as he recovers from a torn Achilles he suffered with the Texans at the end of the season. There’s a good chance he remains on the PUP list to start the season.
