Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard was reportedly on the trade block prior to Tampa Bay acquiring Rob Gronkowski from the Patriots on Tuesday.
New England is interested in Howard and even attempted to trade for him last season. It seems like if a deal was going to get done they would have found a way to include him in the Gronk deal.
According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, that’s not necessarily the case and there’s still a chance he ends up with the Patriots this season.
