The Patriots are close to delivering Tom Brady a late birthday present. According to reports, the 42-year-old is close to finalizing a contract extension with New England.
The deal will obviously be a short-term one and will prevent Brady from playing a season in the NFL without a contract for the following season in place.
The deal is expected to be finalized very soon.
