Giants head coach Pat Shumur isn’t going to be making a change at quarterback anytime soon. In fact he expects the 37-year-old Eli Manning to be the starting quarterback in New York next season.
Shumur not only said he wants Manning back next season, he thinks Eli has “years left.”
Pat Shurmur asked if he wants Eli Manning back next year says he “wants all our players to be back.” Thinks experience matters in building this team. When asked if he still believed Eli had “years” left, he said: “I do.” Why? He’s seen him play good football. #Giants

It looks like Giants fans have “years left” of suffering. The 5-9 Giants have played well below their talent level, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Most of the poor play starts with the quarterback position.
I’m very confused by what quarterback Pat Shumur has been watching all season. Eli’s arm strength and accuracy are gone. He can’t escape the pass rush at all and often times goes down with minimal contact.
Good luck with years of that.
