Panthers safety Eric Reid, who was drug tested for the seventh time immediately following Monday night’s loss to the Saints, was also fined for a “late hit” during that game. He tweeted about the over $20k fine saying he was “adding it to the file”

The hit is a little late, but there wasn’t much contact and there wasn’t even a flag thrown on the play. This hit isn’t anywhere close to a hit worthy of a $20k fine. Reid should definitely add this to his file.
